Who we are

Illuminate Mental Health & Wellness Group is a small group practice of therapists with like-minded goals and ideals. Our mission is to provide thoughtful, ethical, and compassionate mental health care grounded in trust, collaboration, and clinical integrity. We believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. Our clinicians are committed to evidence-based practice, cultural humility, and authentic connection, meeting each person where they are and honoring their lived experience. As a group practice, we value community by supporting both our clients’ growth and our clinicians’ sustainability so that care remains accessible, responsive, and deeply human.

  • Practice Owner, Therapist

I’m a psychotherapist who works with individuals, couples, and families. I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, whether that means living with a chronic health condition, adjusting to the changes of parenthood, or finding peace in their relationships. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, drawing from methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brainspotting, Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to support each person’s unique journey toward healing and growth. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lakeland University.

I’ve also completed Brainspotting Phase I training and plan to continue deepening my skills in this powerful approach. Before becoming a therapist, I served in the National Guard, an experience that shaped my appreciation for resilience, connection, and the importance of mental health support.

As a busy mom, I understand how hard it can be to care for yourself while balancing the many demands of daily life. I bring that understanding into my work, offering empathy, insight, and support to those who feel overwhelmed or stretched thin.

  • Therapist

I am a psychotherapist with 35 years of experience in the mental health field. My specialty areas include trauma, relational problems, mood/anxiety disorders, marital problems and adjustment disorders. I have worked in schools, hospitals, clinics, and currently a county jail. I am able to work with individuals, families and couples. While I have had experience working with all ages, I prefer young adults and older. I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Pittsburgh and my Master Degree in Clinical Psychology at Edinboro University. I have held my Professional Counselor License for 10 years.

My preferred approach with my clients is to meet them where they are at and build on their strengths to tackle life's demands. By working in a jail setting for the past 15 years I always say, " there is nothing I have not heard." So, I encourage people to share anything that they need to without judgement.

I definitely see myself as a compassionate person who can empathize with all types of people. But my biggest strength is my sense of humor, and I do try to add that into the counseling experience as I believe laughter is healing.

  • Therapist

I am a psychotherapist working primarily with individuals aged 10 years and older. I practice from a place of compassion and curiosity. I am passionate about helping people through life’s challenges to reach their full potential, and I strive to provide a place of support and connection to empower each individual with the best personalized solutions to live the life they want.

I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Superior. I support individuals with a variety of stressors including those related to life transitions, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, LGBTQIA+ concerns, as well as diagnoses of neurodivergence in adulthood. My practice takes an integrative approach, incorporating Person-Centered, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapies.

Therapy is a great space to take a little “you” time. I offer in-person services in my relaxing office space, but if time or location is a barrier, tele-health is also an option so that we can bring therapy to you without the extra travel time.
